People living with HIV must be meaningfully engaged in decision-making about matters that affect their lives. Facilitating this objective requires evidence-based information delivered in user-friendly formats, as well as support within healthcare settings, notably by peer educators. IAPAC maintain two patient-oriented informational repositories, including one that features user-friendly factsheets and another that is meant to improve the overall care and support of women living with HIV. We also support peer educators to educate people living with HIV about and help them navigate the complexities of HIV care.
