The UNAIDS 90-90-90 targets call for 90% of people living with HIV knowing their status, 90% of people living with HIV who know their status being on antiretroviral therapy, and 90% of people living with HIV on antiretroviral therapy achieving viral suppression. IAPAC is engaged in advocacy efforts to support the attainment of these programmatic targets at national, subnational, and municipal levels, notably through our work with Fast-Track Cities.
Our primary advocacy vehicle is an annual series of 90-90-90 Targets Workshops. These events feature global progress towards and challenges to attaining the targets, reinforcing the critical engagement of affected communities, and the importance of attaining the targets to facilitate a trajectory towards HIV epidemic control.
