Peer educators are engaged with people living with HIV in communities around the world. IAPAC supports this important health worker cadre through training curricula whose objective is to hone their knowledge and skills in HIV care so that they may better assist people living with HIV to navigate the complexities of HIV care. In addition, we have developed tools – called Conversation Maps – that support peer educator-facilitated dialogue with people living with and affected by HIV around issues such as HIV treatment initiation and navigating the HCV care continuum.
