Dear Colleagues:
The International Association of Physicians
in AIDS Care (IAPAC), in association with amfAR,
The Foundation for AIDS Research, will host
a two-track, abstract-driven international
conference – IAPAC 09 – from November 29-December 1, 2009, in the vibrant city of New Orleans.
As the conference’s Co-Chairs, we are working with a distinguished Planning Committee to ensure that the IAPAC 09 program features state-of-the-art information about HIV Clinical Management approaches (Track A) as well as HIV Prevention, Testing, and Psychosocial Support (Track B) in developed and developing world settings. We also believe that IAPAC 09 should serve as a forum for participants to consult with world-recognized experts in both informal discussions and panel sessions, and that the design of the conference should offer ample opportunities to meet with colleagues and exchange ideas in a congenial, interactive environment.
New Orleans, a beautiful, resilient city with a rich cultural heritage, is the venue for IAPAC 09. We are confident that IAPAC 09 participants will find a fascinating city, fully recovered from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina, that remains a popular tourist destination filled with historical monuments, amazing food, and a rich variety of stimulating activities.
We hope that you will register and attend IAPAC 09 and actively participate in this important conference by submitting abstracts for oral and/or poster presentations as well (visit www.iapac.org and/or www.amfar.org). We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans.
Best
regards,
