The IAPAC
09 venue is the
Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, which is
located within walking distance from the official
conference hotels – the Hilton New Orleans Riverside,
the W New Orleans Hotel, and the Westin New Orleans
Canal Place. Complimentary shuttle service will
be available daily for IAPAC
09 participants
traveling to and from the official conference
hotels to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center,
courtesy of the New Orleans Convention & Business
Bureau.
The official language of IAPAC
09 will be English.
New Orleans has a
subtropical climate with pleasant year-round
temperatures. The months of November and December
are temperate, with temperatures ranging from
51° Fahrenheit (11° Celsius) to 63° Fahrenheit
(17° Celsius). An umbrella is recommended.
International delegates to and IAPAC conference or workshop held in the United States are strongly encouraged to visit the US Department of Homeland Security's Customs and Border Protection website to determine whether travel authorization is required.
Some participants may require a visa in order
to enter the United States. Please check with
your local Consulate or Embassy. Letters of Invitation
to IAPAC 09 will be provided exclusively to registered
participants, and may be requested via fax or
email to IAPAC.
