IAPAC is the official organizer
of IAPAC 09,
and is offering discounted hotel room rates for
conference participants who book their accommodations
within the official room block. Also,
selecting a room from the official room block
will reduce your conference registration fee
by 25%. The three IAPAC
09 hotels are in close
proximity (walking distance) to the conference
venue – the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center
– with daily complimentary shuttle service also
available courtesy of the New Orleans Convention & Business
Bureau. Conference participants are strongly
encouraged to book their hotel accommodations
at any of the three hotels to avoid a $75 surcharge
for booking outside the IAPAC
09 official room block.

In order to benefit from the discounted
hotel room rates, participants may use one of the
following booking methods:
- Register for the conference
and book your hotel accommodation via the online
registration.

- Send the Registration and Accommodation Form
with the required deposit (1 night charge) by
fax or mail.
We strongly advise all participants
to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon
as possible. IAPAC will not be able to guarantee
rooms after September 25, 2009.
Each participant
will receive an individual confirmation, indicating
the name and address of the hotel. Hotel reservations
will be confirmed only after receiving a deposit
of one (1) night’s room charge including tax (13%)
and occupancy fee payable by credit card, check,
or bank transfer.
If a sponsoring company is
making a hotel reservation on behalf of a participant,
the participant will receive the corresponding
hotel confirmation directly from the sponsoring
company.
For block bookings (10 rooms and more)
companies are requested to send their request
by fax or e-mail to IAPAC. Different payment
and cancellation policies will apply.
Participants must pay a deposit equal to one
night’s room charge plus tax (13%) and occupancy
fee to book accommodation within the IAPAC 09 rooming block. Participants are responsible for
paying the remaining nights’ room charges plus
tax directly to the hotel.
Cancellations or changes must
be received in writing to IAPAC (by fax or e-mail).
- Cancellations/changes received
60 days prior to arrival – the hotel deposit
will be refunded less a handling fee of $75.00
- Cancellations/changes
received less than 60 days prior to arrival
– no refund will be made
In the event of non-arrival,
the hotel will automatically release the reservation,
and the deposit will be non-refundable.
If you arrive later
or leave earlier than the dates of your confirmed
booking, the total accommodation amount will
be charged and no refunds will be made.
IAPAC and its agents shall
not be responsible for and shall be exempt from
all liability in respect of any loss, damage,
injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any
person, or his /her luggage or any other property
for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services
provided. Personal travel and health insurance
is recommended.
